Suddenly your browser has a webpage that is threatening you have a virus and must call a certain phone number - DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER - we guarantee they are thieves.

  1. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL all at the same time and open the TASK MANAGER
  2. Navigate to the processes tab. IN the bottom left corner make sure that show all process is selected 
  3. Click on the browser you were using (Firefox, Edge, Chrome, or Internet Explorer) and click on END TASK in the bottom right corner.
  4. Once the browser is closed, open it up again
  5. If the web page is still showing repeat steps 2 & 3
  6. If the same fake page starts again you have to RESET your browser; if you are not comfortable doing this, give us a call.
